Criteria for Photos Submitted for Inclusion

in the 2023 Hallidays Point Community Calendar

 

Thank you for your interest in submitting a photograph/s for consideration to be included as a feature in the 2023 Hallidays Point Community Calendar.

 

We are looking for high quality and high resolution pictures of scenes or events in the Hallidays Point locality and specifically, scenes or events which are easily recognised as being from the Hallidays Point locality.

 

Often, we receive some really excellent photographs of surf and sunrises taken in our area, but, without a local landmark in the scene, they could have been taken anywhere.

 

The photographs we require need to be digital high resolution (no less than 300dpi) and be able to fit the allocated space of 330mm W x 220mm H without the loss of resolution.

 

If your photograph is selected, you will be credited for the picture which will always remain your property and will not be used by us for any other purpose than as a feature in the calendar or possibly as a cover photo in a future edition of the Hallidays Point News of Our World. In the event that we are asked for a copy of your picture, we will refer that request directly back to you as the owner of the photograph.
